You will work towards a final showcase, combining all your skills to produce the first ever productions in Waltham Forest Borough’s first theatre.

Taking advantage of the Academy’s new 200 seat theatre, you will learn every aspect of production from audiovisual design, stage management, prop building and set-making, to the business of production, production arts planning, and rigging.

Progression Routes

BCE Production Arts students could progress to a degree relating to production, theatre or events management. They may also progress into the industry via the creative industries, festival / gig production and management, or audiovisual engineering / rigging. They can also undertake a BCE Events Assistant Apprenticeship.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have 5 GCSEs at grade C(4) or above or a Level 2 Diploma in Art & Design, Beauty Production NVQ Level 2 or Makeup Level 2. A Drama / Media GCSE at C(4) or above is desirable.
